Happy half-birthday to me! So nice of Ben and Jerry's to offer everyone a free scoop of ice cream to celebrate. I'm going to walk down there after work to get my scoop.
Wright State continues to screw me on my Spanish education. They're not offering 203 over the summer. *sigh* I'd like to take 311 so I don't get even further behind, but the time it's offered is RIGHT at the roll-out of Easy Check-Out at work. My boss was counting on my to be available during that time :-( I would only be unavailable for three weeks for 4 1/2 hours...I hope she won't be too upset. Stupid WSU Language Department.

Jan. 29th, 2007 06:16 amI went to bed at 8pm, so I woke up at 4am :-\ I tried to sleep for another hour, and eventually gave up, so I've been downstairs watching tv since 5am.
Saturday I hosted a meeting of my womyn's spiritual group. It was my first time hosting something at my new place, so I cleaned like crazy, but it was still messy :-( We had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays, where I gorged myself on their DELISH-TASTIC salad bar.
Later that evening I had rehearsals for the Vagina Monologues. I really like my monologue, but it really dries my mouth out and it really makes my throat raw. Need lots of water and tea, I think.
It has suddenly turned very cold. It is freezing in my apartment. Last night I ran the space heater in my room with the door shut for 15 minutes to warm it up, and I kept the electric blanket on all night. The kitties liked that.
The high temp for the next 10 days is going to be in the 20s, and it just makes me want to cry ;_; So cold! I hate winter!!

This is just based on exit polls and only 1 precinct reporting, but ohmygod it makes me SO. HAPPY.
I am stupid amounts of tired, and I need to go to bed, but I know I won't be able to sleep until Hamilton County releases their results at 9pm. *sigh*
Also: Ken Blackwell is the devil. Seriously. Not a minion of the devil. The actual devil himself. That I don't actually believe in. HA HA BLACKWELL. I DON'T BELIEVE IN YOU.

Unfortunately, in order to vote I had to drive from Dayton to Cincinnati after I got off work at 9pm last night, spend the night in Cincinnati, wake up at 6am to vote, and then drive back up here to Dayton to be at work by 9am.
I could have voted absentee. I do this to myself.
I could have gone home at 1pm and napped. I volunteered to work until 5pm.
I do this to myself.
I am strongly considering skipping class tonight, even if it may affect my results on the final. I was kinda weaving all over the road this morning on my way up to Dayton because I'm SO. TIRED.
Also: Hamilton County ballots kinda suck. They're like scantrons; you have to fill in the bubble completely. It took SO LONG to fill in all those damn bubbles. I miss the punch ballots.
